Austin’s Kevin Higgins writes and plays Americana music - and he does it well. He won “Song of the Year” at the 8th Annual Texas Music Awards in May of this year for “Find Your Shine,” the title cut from his newest release…Kevin’s wife, fellow Texan Barbara Malteze, who attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, describes herself as “just a little ol’ rocker chick who loves to sing and perform.” The Denver Post says of them, “This husband-and-wife act is one to watch.”

Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra have won 18 Grammy Awards and are on the Top Ten list of the All-time Grammy Awards. They’ve received more consecutive Grammy nominations than anyone in the history of musical awards, and their tremendous popularity has resulted in them being voted “the #1 Polka Band in the Country” for the past ten years. Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra have appeared on The Grand Ole Opry, Saturday Night Live, Fox News, CNN Headline News, ABC and NBC, to name a few.

The Quick & Easy Boys tour in support of their brand new album, Red Light Rabbit. Their sound is a mix of funk, psychedelic rock, and garage soul; with a slight pinch of honky-tonk. Band members include Jimmy Russel on guitar, Sean Badders on bass and Michael Goetz on drums.

Austrian-born Thomas Leeb plays in a style that he calls “the bastard child of acoustic fingerstyle” – a trait that has made him a much sought after performer and teacher. His repertoire consists of self-penned numbers, traditional tunes and occasional covers of Guns ‘n’ Roses, Bjork and Bob Marley. He released his first album at just 17 years old and has since toured Asia, North and South America and Europe.

Post rock disco group, El Ten Eleven is Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty. Together since 2004, this Los Angeles based duo has been receiving great press for their recordings - “These Promises Are Being Videotaped,” “My Only Swerving,” “Hot Cakes” and others – as well as for their live performances…Experimental rockers, dosh, hail from Minneapolis. They tour in support of a new release, Tommy…California’s Baths features Will Wiesenfeld. His album is titled Cerulean.

Joey Spampinato is a founding member of NRBQ; and his brother Johnny, years later, also performed in the band as the group appeared on The Simpsons in live and animated form! Now Joey and Johnny, The Spampinato Brothers, play together again joined by Aaron Spade and Jay Coumoyer. Their debut album is Pie in the Sky.

Cedric Watson is a fiddler, vocalist, accordionist and songwriter who is noted for reviving old Creole fiddling styles and injecting them with his own ingenuity. He has toured across Europe, Haiti, Spain and the U.S., bringing Creole music to audiences everywhere. He has earned two Grammy Nominations in his brief six-year career.
