The Dub Trio is Joe Tomino on drums, Stru Brooks on bass/keyboards and DP Holmes on guitar/keys. The group pays homage to King Tubby’s original dub style, recreating studio tricks live on stage with the use of samplers and delay pedals. CD releases include Exploring the Dangers of, New Heavy, Cool Out And Coexist and Another Sound Is Dying. Since joining Matisyahu in performance, members of the Dub Trio have become an integral part of the show, much to the delight of fans. Kosha Dillz tour in support of Beverly Dillz. The group also recently teamed with C-Ray Walz on the indie hip hop album, Freestyle vs. Written. They describe their sound as Religious/Emo/Swing.
