Head Chef: David Guentner

Located in North Greece, close to the parkway, but conveniently close to 390, Golden Ponds Restaurant & Party House is casual and family friendly, but offers a menu suitable for special occasions. Well known as a great place to host showers, weddings and other parties, Golden Ponds might sometimes be overlooked as a full service restaurant. They invite you to give them a try, confidant that the food will bring you back!

You’ll find classic Italian American fare including Veal Piccata, Veal Saltimbocca, Chicken French, homemade from scratch Italian Sausage, meatballs, Italian bread, soups and sauces. Golden Ponds also features buffets open to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sunday Brunch.

Head Chef David Guentner has been in the restaurant industry since the age of 16, moving on to the Top of the Plaza restaurant where he cooked for banquets as well as fine dining from 1976–1986. He is most at home creating Italian and German cuisine, and is highly skilled at feeding large groups simultaneously with a la carte diners. Chef Guentner has been with Golden Ponds for 23 years, and is a tremndous asset to the restaurant.
