Donna the Buffalo, known for its unique sound that combines reggae, rock, Cajun, country, and zydeco, mixes electric guitars with washboards and Lowery organ with accordion. The group consistently wows audiences with its brilliant melodies, intense socio-political lyrics, body-shaking rhythms, and impressive dance grooves. Dubbed “The Herd,” their inspired fan-base trails the group from state to state. Donna, led by the songwriting tandem of vocalists Jeb Puryear and Tara Nevin, has brought us over 150 original songs over the years, with a new release currently in the works. Nevins recently also released a solo album, Wood and Stone.
