•The LITERATURE LIVE series, which finds characters jumping off the pages of children’s books to meet, greet and pose with youngsters, continues on August 24, 25 & 26 at the Strong National Museum of Play, One Manhattan Square as Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit appears. •The DRYER-IN MOVIE AND FAMILY CAMPOUT NIGHT is scheduled for August 25 at Dryer Road Park, 7405 Dryer Road in Victor NY. The film Dolphin Tale will be shown on a huge move screen; and popcorn and slush puppies will be available. There will even be inflatables for the kids! Then, Coach Steve will host a campout with campfire sing-a-longs and s’mores; and a small breakfast will be provided. Please register if you plan to spend the night – and no pets are permitted.
