Recently nominated as “Best Contemporary Male Blues Artist of the Year” at the Blues Music Awards, J.P. Soars is a young guitar slinger who could play just about anything; but loves the blues. There’s a bit of Wes Montgomery and Djano Reinhardt in his music as well as Louis Jordan and others. His debut release, Back of My Mind, feature not only his expert guitar work, but his gravelly vocals as well. It was recently followed by More Bees With Honey.
