•RPO SEASON FINALE – The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will present Pictures at an Exhibition as the finale of Arild Remmereit’s inaugural season as the RPO Music Director on May 31 and June 2 in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, 60 Gibbs Street. In addition to Mussorgsky’s colorful composition, arranged by Ravel; a word premiere of Caution Ahead – Guard Rail Out by Margaret Brouwer will also be presented; and an art exhibit curated by M. •PINK FLOYD LASER – The June Saturday Night Laser Show at the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium, 657 East Avenue, will feature the music of Pink Floyd. Songs like “Speak to Me/Breathe,” “Money,” “Sheep,” “One of these Days” and “Another Brick in the Wall” will be played on the impressive planetarium sound system as argon and krypton lasers dance on the dome. •ORATORIO SOCIETY – On June 7 at Hochstein Performance Hall, 50 N. Plymouth Avenue, the Rochester Oratorio Society will present “Rochester Sings.” Music by Rochester and New York composers will be featured – works by Aaron Copland, Robert Nathaniel Dett and Stephen Foster as well as student composers from the School of the Arts. •ROCHESTER WOMEN’S COMMUNITY CHORUS – The Spring 2012 concert by our Rochester Women’s Community Chorus will be performed on June 9 at St. Anne’s Church, 1600 Mt. Hope Avenue.
