To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Brockport AlumniDance, the organization at SUNY Brockport will present Revisited on Thursday, February 23 in Strasser Studio on Kenyon Street. The performance is offered in conjunction with Dance Awareness Days and will feature works from a variety of choreographers who are either alumni of the College or current faculty. The program includes “Green Eyed” by Kristi Faulkner Dace from Detroit; works by Jessica Reidy and Sarah Moore/AreaDance; and a duet by Mariah Maloney. Call (585) 395-2787.
Day of Dance
Thompson Health’s “Day of Dance For Your Health” is scheduled for February 25 in EastView Mall. In addition to free health screenings, there will also be a variety of dance demonstrations and lessons offered by area organizations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sean Buck from Rochester Ballroom Club; Joyce D’Imperio from Finger Lakes Jazzercise; Holly Hainen from Canandaigua Jazzercise & Open Arms Yoga; the Rochester Swing Dance Network; and Melissa Dean from Phelps Community Center & Rochester Athletic Club in Perinton will all present.
