TRIBUTE TO SIR ELTON JOHN AND BILLY JOEL

A night of hit songs, energetic performances, outrageous costumes and true Rock ‘n Roll is what you’ll find at Geva Theatre, 75 Woodbury Blvd. from July 27 thru August 11. This production, Tribute to Sir Elton John and Billy Joel, is direct for Las Vegas where it packed Caesar’s Palace and the Paris Casino. The show stars Rochester native David Dames as Billy Joel and Jeffrey Allen as Elton John in a piano-to-piano extravaganza. A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM

Next up at the Bristol Valley Theatre, at 151 S. Main Street in Naples NY, is the classic Broadway hit musical, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. With music by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart (of M*A*S*H fame), this zany romp through Ancient Rome is led by Pseudolus – a crafty Roman slave – desperate to win his freedom by helping his master to capture the heart of the girl of his dreams.
