Public Market Band
The New Orleans style blues group, Public Market Band, has scheduled a special concert for December 29 at 7:30 p.m. at MuCCC, 142 Atlantic Avenue. This lively group started as a pick-up band back in 2010 at Java’s at the Market, playing on most Saturdays. Members include Richard Storms on harmonica and vocals, Ernie Orlando on box, Dave Paprocki on washboard and percussion, Paul Nunes on keyboards, Dave Bernis on guitar and Mike Woolaver on stand-up bass. At this concert, featuring Public Market and Friends, they’ll debut an original composition, “The Last Fruitcake Waltz,” celebrating ‘that last moldering fruitcake in the fridge!’ Visit www.muccc.com.
