Dave North & His Trio @ Johnny's Irish Pub, March 10


Dave North and his Trio celebrate their 30th anniversary with a special concert on March 10th at Johnny’s Irish Pub, 1382 Culver Rd.  The group is a favorite with local crowds with Dave, who hails from Slough in England, leading the band through a repertoire of traditional, modern, comic and obscure songs.  Joining the group for this celebration is the band’s original guitarist, Al Rabideau, as well as other folks who have sat in through the years.  Sisters of Murphy are scheduled to be on hand to perform as well.  (585-224-0990)

Word has reached us that The Deborah Magone Band will be performing at the Indie Music Fest in Las Vegas on April 27 & 28; and their album, Alternate Realities, will be up for Best Rock album 2012 at the LA Music Awards in Hollywood later this year.  They will be one of seven acts to perform at the LA Music Awards in Hollywood.  (deborahmagone.com)



Anonymous Willpower, led by husband and wife team Don Anonymous & Suzi Willpower, have just released a debut CD, No Obligation Information Kit.  They’ll be performing their mixture of Neo-Soul, Rock, Alternative, Latin and Classic R & B on March 9 at Tala Vera, 155 State St.  (anonumouswillpower.com)

The band 1916 will celebrate the release of their new CD, A Drop of the Pure, on March 17 at the Rochester Police Emerald Society Parade Day Bash at the Radisson Hotel, 120 E. Main St.  (585-413-3390)
